Extravagant Affairs offers two wedding collections for couples across the DMV: Full-Service Wedding Planning, for couples who want an expert beside them from the first idea to the last dance, and Month-Of & Day-Of Coordination, for couples who have planned their wedding and want it executed flawlessly. Every collection is tailored to your guest count, your venue and your traditions, and can include our in-house catering, décor rentals and event staffing.

Collection I: Full-Service Wedding Planning

Starting at $7,500. For the couple who wants us beside them from day one. We guide every decision from your engagement to your wedding day, including:

Budget architecture, prioritization and ongoing cost management
Venue scouting, tours and booking
Vendor sourcing, contract review and negotiation
Custom wedding design and styling, floor plans and production timelines
Guest logistics, including transportation and hotel room blocks
Month-of and day-of coordination, with senior on-site leadership from setup to send-off

Collection II: Month-Of & Day-Of Coordination

Starting at $3,500, up to $5,000 depending on guest count. For the couple who has planned it all and wants to enjoy it. In the final weeks we take the reins:

A wedding day blueprint: timeline meeting, master checklist and full production schedule
Final confirmation of every vendor, with a detailed vendor packet including arrival times, floor plans and load-in instructions
Ceremony rehearsal direction
On-site direction of the wedding day, from vendor setup to the final strike
Securing your gifts and keepsakes with your chosen family delegates at the end of the evening

Add-On Services

Because we own our catering, décor inventory and staffing, you can add any of these to either collection, with one team accountable for all of it:

Custom catering prepared by our own culinary team, including vegetarian and Jain menus
TIPS-certified bartenders and beverage service
Décor, linens, draping and rentals
Trained event staff and servers
Guest transportation and hotel room block coordination

Multi-Day and Multicultural Celebrations

Sangeet, Mehndi, Haldi, Baraat, Nikkah, chuppah, tea ceremonies and fusion weddings that unite two families: multi-day multicultural celebrations are our specialty, including Indian, Pakistani, Ethiopian, Nigerian, Jewish, Chinese and Korean weddings, and same-sex weddings. These celebrations are quoted to scope after your consultation, because every family’s traditions are different.

Wedding Collection FAQs

What is the difference between full-service planning and month-of coordination?

Full-service planning starts at the beginning, with your budget, venue, vendors and design, and continues through your wedding day. Month-of coordination is for couples who have already planned their wedding and want professionals to finalize every detail and run the day.

How much does a wedding planner cost in the DMV with Extravagant Affairs?

Month-of and day-of coordination starts at $3,500 and goes up to $5,000 depending on guest count. Full-service wedding planning starts at $7,500. Multi-day multicultural celebrations are quoted after your consultation.

Can we add catering or rentals to month-of coordination?

Yes. Our in-house catering, décor rentals, bartenders and event staff can be added to either collection, or booked on their own when your venue allows outside catering.

Are you available for 2027 holiday weekends?

We are accepting a limited number of weddings for Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day weekends in 2027. Tell us your venue and date and we will confirm availability, usually in less than an hour.
